AGR Mom's Weekend is a wonderful opportunity for mothers to meet their sons' friends, experience fraternity life, and create lasting memories together. The event often strengthens the bond between fraternity members and their families, fostering a sense of community and support. 

If you haven't heard- Homecoming is a big deal at Mizzou! Greek organizations work for months to prepare for the week's festivities. These celebrations enhance the fraternities visibility and reputation on campus, attracting new members and reinforcing the Chapter's commitment to community and brotherhood.

The Annual AGR Classic cattle show helps strengthen the connection to the agricultural community. The show provides and opportunity to network with industry professionals, showcase their commitment to agriculture, and and attract new members who share a passion for the fraternity's mission. 

Members participate in a variety of philanthropic activities throughout the year. These activities enhance the service oriented reputation across campus and showcase a collective dedication to helping others. Members develop practical skills such as teamwork, hard work, community involvement,  and leadership. 

AGR members actively participate in the MU Greek Community. In 2025, the Chapter was recognized as a top Greek Chapter on campus, recognized as both excellent in organizational development and health, safety, and wellness, and received recognition for academic achievement. Member Owen Reynolds was recognized as the 2025 Rising Star. 

AGR hosts an annual crawfish boil, a lively event that unites the student body for a memorable celebration just before the end of the academic year. This social gathering features delicious crawfish, music, and games, creating a vibrant atmosphere where students can unwind and connect with friends. This is a unique opportunity for students to enjoy a taste of Southern tradition right in the heart of Missouri. 

Mizzou AGR's actively participate in the university's intramural sports, fostering camaraderie and teamwork among its members. Whether it's flag football, basketball, or soccer, the fraternity fields competitive teams that not only strive for victory but embody sportsmanship and fraternity values. These intramural events provide an excellent opportunity for members to bond, stay active, and engage with the broader Mizzou student community, all while showcasing their dedication to both athletic excellence and brotherhood. 

Alpha Gamma Rho engages with Sigma Alpha throughout the year to leverage their organizations shared commitment to agriculture and professional development. Sigma Alpha's annual agriculture symposium is a premier event that brings together industry experts, students, and professionals to discuss the latest trends and innovations in agriculture. The relationship strengthens the bonds between the two organizations and amplifies their collective efforts to promote agricultural education and community engagement at Mizzou. 

Mizzou AGR demonstrates its commitment to professional development through a series of targeted sessions designed to equip members with essential career skills. These sessions include practical advice on career fair do's and don'ts, comprehensive resume building workshops, and training in Parliamentary Procedure to enhance leadership capabilities. Additionally, character strengths assessments help members identify and leverage their unique strengths, fostering personal growth and professional readiness. 

AGR Alumni are routinely invited to chapter dinner to share their background and career successes. Alumni mentorship is crucial for AGR Fraternity as it bridges the gap between academic learning and real-world experience. Through mentorship, alumni provide invaluable guidance, industry insights, and professional networking opportunities that help current members navigate their career paths in agriculture.
